APOLOGY? What for?

I don't get most people. They say sorry, they hug you and then they ask for you to forgive them.. They act that way when they do something wrong and then before you even forgive them wholly, they do it all over again. Pota! What's the use of this apology? What is it for? Is it just some sort of way to make it appear to people that you actually are humane? That you are actually sympathetic and that it occurred to you that what you did was wrong? IS THAT YOUR PURPOSE OF APOLOGY?

APOLOGY IS SUPPOSED TO GO LIKE THIS:
1. Ask for forgiveness.
2. Vow to never do it again.

But it seems like the trending thing to do is apologize and make yourself seem like a good person in front of people while doing so and then go back to backstabbing them. Duh! Personally, if that were the case, I'd rather not apologize at all! At least I still have my integrity! HMP!

OLD SPICE (MARRIAGE PROPOSAL)

Before reading the rest of the post, watch this video first.

My friend, Arthur Majaducon introduced this commercial to me. I find the commercials of this product quite funny AND EXPENSIVE since it does a lot of fancy effects and shit.. Anyway, I was bored and I saw this post at tumblr that made me giggle inside.. And it was related to this commercial.. :)

At first, I find this funny.. And then after a while, I thought that this was a joke that was actually very romantic. It's a nice way to propose to a girl! It's humorous and it's memorable! It's not everyday that a guy would propose to you using a strategy in a form of a ridiculous commercial.. Sweet, dba? Personally, I would like it if a guy proposed like this PERO if he did it like this, it wouldn't be too much of a surprise for me since I already know this style.

The point here is, creativity and humor is appreciated when you're being romantic. Sus, I wouldn't mind if my future fiance would propose to me in this kind of way. Sweet talaga! haha! Wala lang. Just sayin'. :)

The Working Pregnant Celebrity

I was bored on a Sunday evening and I decided to search the net for random things. After a while, I got tired of playing games on facebook so I opened a new tab and went to youtube. When it opened, I came across this video.

It's Beyonce Knowles... in a new music video.

When I saw this, I wondered if this was a new music video or just some old one that got popular now.. BUT NO, IT WASN'T. I was actually shocked to see this since I know that Beyonce is pregnant at the moment.

I had 2 feelings when I saw this video.

1. I wanted to extend my sympathy for her since she's pregnant and she's still stressing herself out with all this work and;
2. I feel proud that she's still capable of doing non-pregnant stuff even if she's pregnant.

Seriously, it's not very common to see women like these. I'm actually scared that the baby might get hurt inside her while she danced like that. I just hope she won't do it live (while at the moment of her pregnancy).

Anyway, that's all I have to say.
Sembreak's started but me and my comrades are still working on our variety show for tomorrow (October 10, 2011). I hope we do great. Toodles! :)

If I had the resources to celebrate my 18th birthday, it would be planned/go like this.

Lately, I've been having classmates turning 18 and celebrating their debuts. Some didn't and some were able to do so.. BUT FOR ME, I WOULD VERY MUCH LOVE TO CELEBRATE MY 18th BIRTHDAY! :)

Here's the thing. Ever since I was in 2nd grade, I was already planning for my 18th birthday. I made a list of who were going to give me 18 candles and give my 18 dances.. I dreamed of wearing a long, flowy gown the same as what princesses wear and I dreamt of walking down the stairs as my 18 candle guests and 18 roses guests, along with my family, would wait for me at the bottom of the stairs to sing me "Happy Birthday". After going down the stairs, my boyfriend would approach me from the crowd and give a rose and kiss me on the cheek and tell me "Happy birthday, dear." And then everyone would be in awe and approve of our love.

After that scene, everyone would go to their seats and the party would start. The spotlight would be on me and then my friends would be singing for me a song they made for me or some song they would dedicate for me. And then the part where the 18 candles would start and I'd be wearing a different dress. It would still be long and flowy but it would be less puffy and have a different color, blue, perhaps? After the singing part, I imagined myself singing along with them.... with a microphone.... and I sounded horrible but then everyone just went along with it and laughed and it ended up with me, rapping random stuff that wasn't related to the original song... *Moving on, after that part, I imagine myself sitting again with the spotlight on me. In this part, the people who were assigned for the 18 candles would be doing the stuff that they're supposed to do. They would be talking in front of me and everyone else and remembering not just the good, but the hard times we went with as well.I visualize that some of these people would be crying...including me, causing our make-up to be smudged(but we'll still look fabulous, of course).

My most awaited part is here! It's the 18 dances! :))
During my grade school years, I imagined of spending these 18 dances with all of my crushes (Yes, I had plenty. I still do, actually. XD). But as I grew up, I imagined my dad to dance me first, followed by my brothers and then my cousins and then my friends.. The last one to dance me would be my boyfriend.. Or maybe my dad should go last 'cause he's the most special guy in my life.. :)

After that, I would change my outfit again! This time, I would be wearing a simple cocktail dress and everyone would be eating.. And then while they eat, we would be taking pictures with each other. When I come out, my boyfriend would go to me, hold my hand and escort me back to my seat. Then while I'm seated, I would give everyone a thanksgiving speech on how I truly love them all and for making my 18th birthday special..

Now that I'm grown up, I see this fantasy being shattered. We're poor and we can't afford to celebrate an event like this. So maybe, I'll spend my 18th birthday in my dreams.. BUT STILL, I wish to have a celebration like this.. I'm still 16.. Maybe there's a possibility that this will come true.. Peace out, yo :)

JULY 10, 2011

That's an empty application form. I already passed one. This one is just an extra form. I just had to have an extra form just in case I had some erasures on the other application forms. Hehe :)
SUNDAY, JULY 10, 2011

So, it's a Sunday and I have an exam... HOW FUN. Haha, but seriously, all jokes aside, this exam is important to me. This exam is actually a staff exam for our school's official publication, ATENEWS. I'm scared. I don't know what the exam would be. If it were an essay exam, I would go mad. My brain is exhausted from all the school work and volleyball training and all the other problems.

I don't know what to expect. I'm nervous, excited and tired to think of it.I don't even know if my brain can handle it. But being a part of the staff would be life changing for me. Why? Well, first, IT'S ATENEWS!! IT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT ON MY LIFE! THAT'S FOR SURE! Second, I've never been part of a school paper staff even if I'm capable of writing. If I pass this staff exam and be a part of them, it would really mean a lot to me. Oh well. I'm running late! Haha! Time for me to go to school! Wish me luck! :)

Love always,
Karen Kae :)

COSPLAY *at school?!?* <(O.o)>

Ever since the last two cosplay events that I joined, I was always having the feeling that I wanted to have a photoshoot like those of the professional cosplayers. I know some might say I'm being too ambitious but I was just thinking that.

Last May 12, 2011, when i came in late for my PhilCon class, I sat at the back of the class(since I got shy to go to my original seat which was near the front). A while later, my classmate, Danica Braganza, came in late too.

We started talking about anime and how much our teacher was cute but boring *blah blah blah*. While we were talking she was drawing some stuff.

LOL! I like this one very much! Danica! You are one cool chic ^_^

Unconsciously, I told her "Hahay. Gusto kong magphotoshoot sa Dotterweich building kasi maganda ang lugar. It's creepy and perfect for my Hell Girl character. Wala man gud koy photographer." And then she started telling me about her friend who had the same idea and that friend of hers always wanted to have a supernatural encounter at the said building.

After me and my classmates had lunch, we went back to our classroom. Since it was still early, Danica didn't show up. When she came, she gave me the best thing I have ever heard in my life. She said "Oy, payag gud yung friend ko na magphotoshoot sa D building. Dalhin niya daw DSLR niya next week.."

I was like. Oooh! REALLY??! ATIK?!?!?

I was celebrating inside my soul.

I invited some of my cosplay classmates as well para marami kami. Tss. Basta! Words cannot explain what I feel right now! I am super excited and I think I told everyone at school about it. I hope it would still prevail :D

Oh, here's a picture of the AWESOME DANICA BRAGANZA
Isn't she pretty?? XD If I were a guy, I would marry you. <3

That's it for now!
Peace out! :D
